Larry Zimmer is a native New Yorker born on Manhattan Island. Larry’s expertise of New York City spans from his extensive knowledge of the city’s history to keeping a constant pulse on its vibrant cultural community. He is a licensed New York City tour guide who has a passion for exploring the city and uncovering its past and present hidden treasures. Larry graduated with a Bachelors of Arts and a Masters in Science from Queens College of the City University of New York. Larry spent many years in the New York City public school system in Brooklyn teaching history and music to inner city youth. Larry is an artist, musician, and actor, and has appeared in many films, television shows and plays. He is a member of the Screen Actors Guild, American Federation of Television and Radio, and Actors Equity. In addition to his educational and creative passions, Larry is an NSCA certified personal trainer and loves challenging himself and others physically, mentally, and creatively, thus creating the balanced lifestyle that is so necessary to thrive in challenging New York City, the greatest city in the world.
